About Schmidt, Rupke, Tess-Mattner & Fox, S.C.
Schmidt, Rupke, Tess-Mattner & Fox, S.C History
In 1981, Walter Schmidt and John Rupke met as opposing counsel in a court case in Waukesha, Wisconsin. During the trial of the dispute, each became impressed with the other’s skill, thoroughness, and integrity. Shortly after the trial, they founded Schmidt & Rupke, S.C., a law firm based on those qualities.
Since then, the firm has been a model of stability in today’s volatile legal marketplace. The firm has grown significantly over the years, and in 2002, the name of the firm was lengthened to recognize the shareholders added since 1981.
The lawyers of Schmidt, Rupke, Tess-Mattner & Fox, S.C. continue to embrace the same qualities on which the firm was founded: knowledge, skill, preparation, integrity, and concern for the client.
